Abercrombie & Fitch released a press release yesterday morning stating they did not want the cast of MTV’s Jersey Shore, especially “The Situation”, wearing their apparel anymore. They didn’t like the message the cast was sending wearing their clothing on the show since they are doing such bad things and A&F has a respectable image to uphold.
Should Abercrombie & Fitch really be able to tell someone that they can not wear their clothes when they have a not so great image themselves?
With a little research, I read up on 15 different lawsuits against Abercrombie & Fitch all having to do with racial or sexual discrimination. I figure this Jersey Shore “situation” is morely for publicity, but I feel as though Abercrombie & Fitch should be worried about the posibility that they could damage their reputation more.
