My mom has been on vacation with my dad for the past week, so I have been the “mommy in charge”. I decided to cook spaghetti for my sisters and brother. Mind you, I have NEVER really cooked anything that doesn’t go in the microwave or goes from the freezer to the oven. This was a very big event for me.
First I had to go buy all the supplies for my spaghetti:
3 jars of Ragu
2 boxes of Spaghetti. (Even though, I only used one!)
A pack of Ground beef and 2 packets of cheese
Now it’s time to start cooking!!
Step one: Season the ground beef with Mrs. Dash and seasoning salt
Step Two: add mushrooms to the meat…
Step Three: Once the meat is cooked, add the sauce. I only used two jars of sauce, because my pot was full. If you need to add more sauce you can add it later on.
During that time, make sure to start boiling water for the noodles.
Step Four: Boil the noodles
Don’t forget to add a pinch of salt to your water!
Step Five: Drain noodles
(Sorry forgot to take a picture of this step, but you get the drift!)
Then put the noddles pack into the pot you boiled them in.
Step Six: Add the sauce to the noodles.
And there you have it! My yummy first attempt at cooking and it was very successful!
