so my alter ego is Brooklyn! Just like Beyonce has Sasha Fierce…I have Brooklyn. Unlike Beyonce, my alter ego does not come out to make me perform amazing shows…I just become a little ratchet! lol
in celebration with her new tour, beyonce (who has become quite the style icon) curated selections on the site rent the runway! which i just discovered & am obsessed with! from rent the runway, you can rent pieces from many high fashion designers on a 4 to 8 day period. this is so amazing if you have an event or special occasion and need a last minute look for it!
it’s great to see the selections beyonce made, which include many dresses and two or three jumpsuits. that fits her style, so it could see why it was that way. also, i was so happy to see beyonce chose a few kate spade pieces!
you can see beyonces full collection here.
here are my top picks from the collection, including the kate spade pieces!
what do you think of beyonce’s pieces?
nope! it’s actually her mrs. carter world tour merchandise. all of the pieces can be purchased on her online store here.
i love the way the t shirts give a new vision for tour merchandise. they have givenchy inspiration and are styled into very fashion forward looks.

This week, Beyonce released her Pepsi commercial with a snippet of her new single! Not only did she slay as herself but she also killed it as every Beyonce Era. It was a trip down memory lane seeing her look from “Crazy In Love”, “Single Ladies”, “Bootylicious”, “Work it Out”, “Run the World”, “Deja Vu”, and many more!
Follow up tomorrow for my recap of the performance!
Beyonce showing everyone she’s about to hit the scene again! Pepsi released images of Beyonce’s ad for her new Pepsi in 2013.
The campaign will coincide with a blitz of promotion for her next album, which has no title or release date so far but is expected in 2013. Sometime after she performs at the Super Bowl halftime show on Feb. 3 (also sponsored by Pepsi), Beyoncé will appear in a new TV ad — her fifth for the soft drink since 2002 — and her face will be on a limited-edition line of soda cans.
The less conventional aspects of the deal are meant as collaborative projects that indulge Beyoncé’s creative whims, and might well have no explicit connection to Pepsi products.
The multiyear campaign is estimated at $50 million, the bulk of it for media placements and promotions around the world, and the remainder split roughly equally between Beyoncé’s fee and what Pepsi calls a creative content development fund.
This weekend is “Career Day” for my sister Brittyn’s elementary school. Her dream is to be a gymnast and her inspiration is the one and only Gabby Douglas.
For Career Day we wanted to give her a look that worked for school and still gave her an athletic look. My mom found this workout set in the girls’ section at Target.
The set is made out of great ‘Dri Fit’ material, which is great for her because she is a very active little girl. And she is still fashionable with the snake skin texture look the set gives.
Go for the Gold!
