Off to Monaco

This month’s “theme” at Kate Spade is Monaco. Since this year is the year of places to go, people to see!  I am love with the entire collection, especially the Corley dress (shown below). It is such a spring/summer essential. With every collection thus far, I have wanted to travel to every place. *Books flight!*

lace & wedges!

for tachevah, i wanted to wear this green lace top of my sisters that i haven’t had a chance to wear yet. since were already at 90 degrees here in the desert i just knew it would be hot. so i paired the lace top with the denim shorts that i made during my first diy project. then i added my navy target wedges with green detailing.

Christmas Trees and White Tees.

I kept things pretty simple on Friday when we were looking for our christmas tree & decorating it. A white t shirt and jeans is always a classic and simple look, which is why I paired it with my Nike Griffeys.

(My sister Brieonni was trying to run through my picture!)

Houndstooth Affair

Today was another day of errands with my mom. It also was official houndstooth day! Yes, I made an official holiday today. I wasn’t even trying to wear all houndstooth today, but it just came together that way.

Floral Prints & Poofy Buns

Today was Mission: Halloween Costumes. After everyone got home and settled from school, We went to our local Halloween pop up store. (There is only one Party City for 4 towns. Weird, right?) I decided I have reached my peak of adulthood for costumes, so I didn’t purchase a costume. I will most likely put something together on Halloween.

My look was very casual since I knew we were just doing some shopping today. I snagged these floral print jeans from my sister’s closet and just had to wear them today. I didn’t have a top to pair it with so I chose my chambray shirt.

Raylee had to get in one of the pictures.

I even met a few friends in the Halloween store.

Prabal Gurung for Target

Target is on a roll with the collaborations they have coming up. Next is Prabal Gurung! The 80 piece collection will range from $12.99 to $199.99 in price. The collection will be released to target stores in February. Prabal Gurung kept to his design aesthetic with his tailoring and feminine silhouettes. According to A Bullseye View, Prabal said ,” the collection is inspired by a girl’s journey through the different stages of love and the clothes she wears during each milestone—from the first date to meeting the parents to the engagement.”

Our only preview of the line is the picture above, but I am looking forward to the collaboration!

Big Sean promotes the "coatless" winter for GQ

GQ is on their campaign for the “coatless winter” with rapper, Big Sean. Showing off various looks by layering blazers, scarfs, hats, and vests. I think I will try this method this winter, because I honestly hate to wear bulky coats when it gets cold.

Iggy Azalea covers Nylon Mexico

The Australian rapper shows off her wonderful physique in very colorful and playful styles.

Dressed for the Job

I had a job interview with a major department store today. The interview went very well and I know my appearance was part of the decision. I wore my favorite Kate Spade dress for the interview. I think this dress can be deemed the ‘interview’ dress. If you remember, I wore this same dress back in January to a job interview. It has such a classic look and I think that’s why it works so well for interviews.

For accessories, I differed in the shoes by wearing my mom’s black studded Christian Louboutin’s and my red Hermes cuff. I realized that the navy Lanvin heels that I wore with the dress previously most definitely did not match. The navy in the dress is so dark, it looks black that’s why I chose a black heel this time around.
