My look was styled around my white skinny jeans. I can’t remember the last time I wore white jeans… I’m lying! I had a pair in middle school from that store from Gadzooks… does anyone remember that store? Okay… that was very off topic!
I was a tad bit “unprepared” and went to search for a top today of the shoot. I went to my local Forever21 and found these white mesh top. I loved it because it was see through without looking tasteless. I will definitely be wearing it through out the summer.
You know I love, love, love COLOR so I couldn’t let this look be head to toe white. I added my pop of color with my Prabal Gurung heels.
Since the heels have every color on them, I can accessorize this look any way I want to. I actually decided to minimize my accessories for this look to keep it clean and sleek.
This look was out of my normal style and I really loved it. What do you think of my look?
Heels: Prabal Gurung for Target

Today I collaborated with my blogger BFF, Nicole, of thedarlingniki.com again for a meet up. It’s always so refreshing to catch up with her, because it’s nice to have someone who is in the same field as you. Our first shoot was a spring all white shoot!
Me… in all white?!? YES! I know..it felt like fine china all day because I’m so quick to stain something.
We chose the beautiful and colorful Saguaro hotel in Palm Springs. Every wall is the perfect background to an all white look.
Without even trying, we both chose white skinny jeans. I chose a white mesh short sleeve top, while Nicole styled her jeans with a white tank.
I love that we took the same concept and styled them completely differently. That shows our individuality as stylists! I will update this post with outfit diets, but I hope you enjoyed our first look!
UPDATE: Niki’s Look
Tank: American Apparel
Bag: Michael Kors
Accessories: Francesca’s collection (Necklace), Bavna (Bracelet), Kate Spade Saturday (Glasses)
My mom had a client coming into town last week and wanted to drop off a welcome package at her hotel. It all sounded pretty boring until she mentioned that her client was staying The Saguaro in Palm Springs. That is one of my favorite hotel to frequent, not only because of all the colors but they have a great staff.
I was just there in October for the painting event for my birthday!
Since we were out running errands, the gym was next on my list and I found my brightest workout shirt to keep up with the colors of The Saguaro. And naturally I turned one photo into a full photo shoot. Shirt: (Some random store…sorry!)
Jacket: Banana Republic
Shoes: Old Navy
