“rain drop, drop top”….can i just say I COMPLETELY agree with Donald Glover by saying that Migo’s Bad & Boujee is the BEST song ever. I listen to that song at least 10 times a day. I literally do feel like a bad bitch after that song. Which brings me to this UH-MAZING Trina Turk dress that I wear weekly, because I also feel like a bad bitch every time I wear it.
Spring Time is definitely here. The valley as been warming up in the past few weeks, but this week is definitely showing spring weather is here to stay.
My neighborhood is so quiet and now is the time to bring out my (well my sisters) bike before it becomes scorching again. I wanted to get a nice ride and my v- neck sweater matched the motif of the bike. My “off days” are really the only days that I can really dress for myself. I had been reluctant to bring out sandals, but I just hate transiting from boots. Today I pulled out my gladiators that I bought last year. Besides the cute color scheme, I especially love this bike because of the basket! The basket just makes me feel like I have went behind in time…ahhh, i love it! So I had to pile it with my spring essentials:
-my cell phone (protected in the stylish otterbox)
-my kate spade tumblr
-my surface 2 in my new hounds tooth case

Don’t you love when you see your best friend and they have a really cute look on and you can’t wait to borrow a piece for yourself? That’s how I feel whenever I see my mom with a new outfit….instant look for me! A few days ago, she wore this adorable checkered skirt from Forever21 and I had to snag it when I saw it on her!
Today I had a morning class and then a night class, so I wanted to make my look cute for the whole day. (Incase I ran into anyone I saw in the morning!) Also, I don’t want to go to elaborate because I do have to run errands and such between classes. Which is why I made the skirt sporty with the black slip on sneakers that I recently got from Macy’s.
Jean Jacket: Banana Republic

I’ve found myself having to find more casual looks since i’m back in school! i’m so used to having the dress up, so it’s a nice transition to dress “normal”.
I had astronomy on monday nights and it is a 3 hour lecture. so i always want to come very comfortable to that class. Three hours of astronomy is very very entertaining so i definitely would like to look cute to feel better. lol.
So in love with these gladiators that I got from DSW for 80% off!
Purse: Dooney and Bourke
I have been on the search for a “SURFBOARD” shirt since Beyonce released them on her website. I didn’t want to buy one before the concert, because I hate to see people wearing artist shirts at the concert.
After walking past about 6 vendor booths..I finally found the shirt! Today, I took the kiddies to the movies to see x-men. I wanted to have a nice everyday look…so I brought out my shirt!
Who layers up in the summer? Me! Even in summer, I love layering tops. It always gives an extra element to any look. Which looks great, but does not feel great when it’s 100 plus degrees outside. #desertlife
After two days off, I was in a pretty relaxed mood. I wanted to wear my bright boyfriend pant from the Gap. I’ve worn the pants with my heart sweater in the past, but I decided to layer my sweater with my gingham button up.
What I really enjoy about this look is because I can dress it up or down. In the past, I’ve worn flats and loafers. Today I still wanted to make my look Kate Spade appropriate so I decided to grab my go to shoes. My glitter Karolina heels! Glitter heels may not be everyones go to shoe..but my theory is glitter goes with everything!

I wanted to be really comfortable on my flight to tokyo, but there’s nothing worse than wearing something you regret in an hour into a ten hour flight! lol i chose this amazing jumpsuit my mom bought recently. It was so loose and comfortable…exactly what i wanted!
I kept my jumpsuit on when we decided to walk around koreatown! I took these shots on the steps of the k-pop cafe! I love the alternating colors of the stairs.
Jumpsuit: ellen tracy
Shoes: kate spade
The front of my parents mid century house has the most amazing orange front door. I finally had to convince my mom to let me shoot my looks out here. I will definitely be shooting all over the house now, because we’re finally putting the finishing touches on most of the house.
I wanted to have a nice mixed print look and I hadn’t combined my window pane top and leopard jeans. I thought the black and white in both tied them in together. Right? I never want to mix prints that are TOO much, but still work together. I think I definitely achieved that.
Since it’s summer, I often get asked to drinks with friends or events after work. Most are casual here in the desert so I don’t have to wear heels. I’ve found myself keeping sneakers in my car to change into after work, because I want to keep my work looks edgy and fun. With this look, I decided to throw on my pink Alife sneakers that I only bring out for special occasions.
Which look do you like more…. heels or sneakers?
